Kids from Taramana were enchanted by the circus

Forty kids from Taramana were invited by the NGO Phare Ponleu to discover and practice circus art.

For once, Taramana was invited to the Tini Tinou show put on at the beginning of the month by the NGO Phare Ponleu at the Chenla theatre.  For a full hour and a half, twenty kids were able to savor an enchanting show which included, in the first part, teenagers from the NGO Phare doing some breathtaking acrobatics. The second part of the show was presented by the French National Circus School.  As an extra bonus, each child from Taramana left with some tasty donuts offered by the evening’s sponsor.

Circus workshop

Two days later, another group of twenty kids were invited by the French National Circus School to take part in a fun intiation workshop. Some kids already know how to juggle after having learned the technique from the Andernos Association Feelethik which sent one of its teachers to Cambodia last year.  In short, there were some very nice shared experiences between Taramana kids and the circus performers. All are looking forward to coming back again next year !
