The broad guidelines are decided by the board in close agreement with the NGO Taramana in Cambodia, which is a sovereign entity. In Cambodia, the center is managed every day by a team made of Cambodian employees and French volunteers.<\/p>\n

Activity and budget<\/h2>\n

Taramana\u2019s accounts in Cambodia are held by the director of the center, with the support of the administrative assistant. Every three months, the director submits a detailed report to the members of the board. These reports detail the centre’s activity during this period: new activities, children’s attendance and school results, changes in work processes, social assistance provided, etc.<\/p>\n

In France, the accounts are approved by the treasurer. Each year, the accounting firm\u00a0Experts & Solutions<\/em> checks the accounting and establishes an annual financial statement.<\/p>\n

Taramana is authorized to deliver fiscal receipts to French sponsors and donors.<\/p>\n

BUDGET<\/h4>\n

Taramana has an annual budget of approximately 100.000 euros<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Almost three quarters of Taramana\u2019s revenues come from donations, contributions and sponsorings. The rest of the organisation\u2019s income comes from public and private grants and the organization of various events.<\/p>\n

Most expenses are dedicated to Taramana\u2019s education, health, nutrition and social support programs. Other expenses include expenses related to the center (equipment, maintenance, security\u2026) and the staff remuneration (social worker, nurse, teachers\u2026).<\/p>\n
