En attendant les prochaines manifestations pro Taramana (notamment la Nuit de gala du 28 septembre avec le “Kiddo project”), le 3ème colloque, organisé le 20 septembre prochain à l’hôtel Himawari de Phnom Penh par la renommée CAMFEBA (Fédération Cambodgienne des Entrepreneurs et Sociétés d’Investissement : http://www.camfeba.com/), donnera l’occasion à Taramana d’être présentée et de collecter des fonds. Après une brève introduction par l’actuel Directeur du Centre, Thomas Leduc, les invités à ce colloque découvriront des vidéos de présentation de l’association et notamment le fameux clip “Gangnam style” réalisé par les enfants de Boeng Salang sous la direction de Jean-Luc Nguyen. Tous les fonds collectés serviront au financement de la construction du futur Centre Taramana. L’association étudie actuellement la possibilité de faire partie des ONG membres de la CAMFEBA aux côtés d’autres ONG tels que PSE, Cambodian Children Funds, Handicap International,… Une occasion pour Taramana d’être mieux guidée aussi bien sur le plan administratif que juridique.
In anticipation of upcoming pro-Taramana events (notably the “Nuit de gala” on September 28th with the “Kiddo project”), the 3rd CAMFEBA (Fédération Cambodgienne des Entrepreneurs et Sociétés d’Investissement : http://www.camfeba.com/) conference to be held on Sept. 20th at the Himawari hotel in Phnom Penh, will give Taramana a forum to present itself and solicit donations.
After a short intro by Thomas Leduc, the current Taramana Centre Director, guests will see the Association’s presentation video and the now globally renowned “Gangnam style” satirical video made with kids from the Centre under the expert direction of Jean-Luc Nguyen. All monies collected will go towards the construction of the future Taramana Centre.
The Association is currently considering becoming an NGO member of CAMFEBA, thus joining a group of other NGOs such as PSE, Cambodian Children’s Fund, Handicap International,… This is a really great opportunity for us to obtain better legal and administrative assistance.
